And bedding, bridles, bits, soft brushes, Show Sheen, curry mits, hair brushes...The list of things we need for our Thoroughbred Adoption Center is endless! Please help maintain our barn!
The Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program, Inc., a registered 501(c)(3) organization, has a new facility to house former Thoroughbred racehorses as they await new homes where they can enjoy their retirement from racing.
Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack provided the land. New York State and Purple Haze Stables provided the majority of the funds. But now we need all the necessities of good horse-keeping...from hay and treats to hoof picks and saddles! We would greatly appreciate any donations of time, material, or labor to keep our barn running. Even the smallest donations would be greatly appreciated!
And remember...your donations not only help the horses, they're also tax deductible!
Help maintain our barn! Your donation of:
$1,000 repairs a stall (with donor plaque)
$750 builds a gate
$500 buys an arena drag
$250 buys medical supplies (antibiotics, vaccines, etc.)
$125 buys horsewear (sheets, blankets, leg wraps, etc.)
$100 buys equipment (bridles, halters, saddles, leads)
$50 buys grooming supplies (brushes, shampoo, etc.)
$25 buys buckets (feed, water), wheelbarrows, pitchforks

We appreciate your generosity towards making this wonderful facility a reality. At last, all Finger Lakes Thoroughbred Adoption Program horses are housed in one location. This enables us to provide the necessary care and interaction required in order to become better acquainted with each horse's personality as well as make it easier for you to stop by and visit them!!
