How To Donate to Honor an Anniversary, Wedding, Birthday or
Say Thank You to a Friend
Many people have sent us donations to honor friends or relatives. In two recent cases, brides and grooms have asked that those wishing to send a present send a donation to FLTAP instead. One young girl asked her friends to give donations instead of birthday presents.
We will list those honored and the contributors on the website and send a letter to the honoree per your instructions. Some wish to have the amount donated listed, some do not. Please let us know.

How To Donate a Brick
We have a beautiful garden outside the Purple Haze Center. It is lined with bricks that can be engraved to honor an occasion or in memory of a loved one. Several honor a favorite horse, others honor friends and relatives who are no longer with us.
The cost for donating a brick is $100. Please send a check payable to FLTAP with Engraving Instructions to FLTAP, PO Box 25043, Farmington, NY, 14425.

How To Donate a Thoroughbred
to Finger Lakes TAP
The primary purpose of this program is to place Thoroughbreds from Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack into suitable adoptive homes or other approved equine placement organizations once their career on the racetrack has come to an end. It is our hope that providing this service will provide an alternative for functional horses so that they don't end up in dire circumstances and cut down on the number of horses continuing to race when they are past their prime, thus making our sport safer for all, especially our equine athletes.
Please remember that horses entering this program must AT LEAST have the soundness and temperament to carry a rider for pleasure purposes.
