Handyman Huey

Handyman Huey, formerly Handful of Color, (photo by Brant Gamma, shown at the top of this page on the right), was purchased as a three year old after three starts. He won multiple events including the Stuart Horse Trials, Marlborough Horse Trials, Winona Horse Trials, Red Hill Horse Trials, Loudoun Hunt HT, GVRDC HT at the training and preliminary levels with owner Carolyn Wehle. He was then sold to Annie Jones for Phillip Dutton who moved Huey up to Intermediate and was 2nd at Bromont in the CCI**, third at Foxhall in the CIC**, second in the Open Intermediate at Morven Park, and 1st in the Advanced at Morven Park. Today his career continues in the equitation ring.
